Hot and Cold

Lets spend a second this morning talking about hot/cold showers. The basics are that you take a hot shower for about 5 minutes and then switch between hot and cold every minute. It helps increase circulation and helps move oxygen. It's exactly what I need because my feet are not getting enough oxygen.

The thing I realized while taking this said hot/cold shower is that the reason the whole world isn't into the whole "natural health craze" is because it kinda sucks! I mean you get to take a nice warm shower and then have to put your whole body into an alert by making the water freezing cold. Not so enjoyable. So for the next five minutes the thoughts running through my head were NOT so happy about getting healthy, just like they were not so happy when I was drinking my home juiced celery juice...

So I hated this healthy remedy for blood and oxygen flow in my body, but strangely enough five minutes after this torture I find myself peacefully sitting at my desk researching health issues. The key to that phrase was the whole "peacefully" thing. My feet didn't hurt and my body didn't ache. I can get used to this.

So maybe doing the healthy natural thing really sucks sometimes, especially in the beginning, but the benefits are so worth it. I would have given anything last night for my feet to stop hurting. This morning I gave five minutes of my comfort during my shower to have non aching feet. I don't care if this just lasts until the end of this hour or the end of the day. Totally worth it!
