Since going raw and being more aware of my surroundings I have:
-Been told that my hair is amazingly soft( at the haircutter's today they kept asking how I got my hair so soft)
-Work has been going much better, I even got a promotion of sorts
-I have much more energy
-My feet don't hurt/ feel numb
-I have become more open to conversations with strangers and with friends
-I sleep better
-I am constantly learning
-Playing piano is much easier and I am learning much faster (although I have been playing less)
-I retain information much longer
-I lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks (not a goal, but I'll take it)
-Going to the gym is much easier
-My sense of smell and my eyesight are improving every day
I could go on and on. I don't know if I will be completely 100% raw forever, but I do know that I will not go back to the way I was eating before. Food is becoming a life force for me.
I want to write more but all I can think about is studying anatomy and physiology. While millions of Americans watched the SuperBowl, I made amazing raw food with Becca and studied anatomy. I have even looked up taking the MCATs (Medical College Admission Test) and contemplated finding a school where I can take my 3 years of college and finish my degree by studying some science. I don't necessarily want to go to Medical school, part of me just wants to study to take the test just to see how well I could do, by myself.
You must learn to live life for yourself. It is not selfish if you do things for the greater good. If you treat yourself right the rest of the world will follow. I am not here to dictate a diet to anyone, but I do hope I will inspire others to research and find what works for them. This is what works for me.
I am doing this for me.
Jenili, I watched you growing up to see you become a beautiful strong woman and now it feels like I watch you growing up all over again into a beautiful strong YOU.
